In this episode, Jaquelle and Sean talk about you should prepare to listen to a sermon — and how you should actually listen to it. They also talk about Jaquelle’s new mattress, Sean’s tough sermon, and more random junk in their basement.

Without having listened to the episode yet, you guys need to do a spinoff podcast on all the different stuff/”junk” in your basement. ?
I thought that this was a particularly good episode. I give thanks for both of you and all of your efforts .
Great episode except for the whole “do not take notes” push. I found that is how i first started to learn about sermon prep by just trying to capture the main points. Now it helps me to stay focused and reorient myself after my little ones make some distraction that needs to be dealt with. I do agree that some people find it a distraction but others find it more of a distraction when notes are not
taken. Other than that the episodes keep getting better as you guys gel more in the podcasts. Cheers
To moil: to work hard; drudge. =D
Thank you so much for this! Since it’s Saturday, I prepared for listening to the sermon. This should be listened to by every church-goer! This is amazing!
