Our daughter chose to homeschool our granddaughter, which was a great decision. This has been a good learning process for our whole family. Thank you for your insight on the subject. The biggest feedback from friends and co workers was the social issue. My thoughts are very mixed, you meet friends in public schools, but sometimes you get caught with wrong relationships that can lead a student down the wrong path. Thank you for your words regarding this subject.
Great Episode. I was homeschooled and can relate to the joys and challenges too.
I understand there may be situations where homeschooling is not possible, but I think it should be sought out by Christian families as much as possible — especially today. Though not the case for all schools, many (and at an increasing rate) are giving academics a back seat to instilling the culture’s values into our children — values that are anti-God, His Word, and His people.
Speaking of school, I’d love to hear you guys talk about college and your view on that.
